Obituary of Avice Violet Clarry

Clarry, Avice Violet (nee Grinyer) Peacefully at Cedarvale Lodge, Keswick, on Sunday, October 31, 2010 in her 98th year. Avice Clarry of Sutton, beloved wife of the late Gordon Doan and the late Douglas Clarry. Dear mother of Kit Doan and his wife Jane of Vancouver, and Rob Doan and his wife Linda of Barrie. Loving grandmother of Gillian Doan (Rob) and great grandmother of Merlin Hellenius. Fondly remembered by Doug's daughter, Lynda and her husband Clint Snell and their family. Avice was the oldest of eight siblings and will be fondly remembered by their families. She actively participated with the Georgina Parish of St. James and St. Georges Anglican Churches, the Lake Simcoe Horticultural Society and the Georgina Lawn Bowling Club. A Memorial Service will be held in St. James Anglican Church, 31 River Street, Sutton Monday, November 8, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Interment of Cremated Remains, York Cemetery, Toronto.
