Peacefully at Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie, on Sunday, September 26, 2010 at the age of 84 years. George Riddell of Barrie, formerly of Virginia, ON, beloved husband of Frances Riddell (nee Hill). Dear father of Marie Stewart (Ron) of Pickering, George Riddell (Mary) of Kirkfield, the late Joe Riddell (Pat) of Newmarket, the late Darlene Dunnett of Toronto, Tammy Russell (Harold) of Barrie, Adele Justus (Fred) of Barrie and Linda Kellett (the late Bob) of Queensville. Loving grandfather and great grandfather. Dear brother of Dolly Eardley and the late Marie Walker. Resting at the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. Masonic Service in the funeral home chapel Wednesday at 6:45 p.m.. Veterans Service in the funeral home chapel Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service in the chapel Thursday at 2:00 p.m. Interment, Briar Hill Cemetery, Sutton. Memorial donations to the Poppy Fund of the R.C.L. Branch 356 Sutton would be appreciated by the family.
