Our hearts hurt for your pain. You've lost a major branch from the Prosser family tree. In reflecting on Scott's life, my memories start in the one-room school house SS#4 North Gwillimbury. Over the years, there were several visits between the Kydd/Nelson/Prosser families perhaps celebrating a milestone birthday or a get together so that the adults could gossip. Scott spent weekends at our family cottage and especially during the Kinmount Fair keeping the boys (and girls) cars worthy to enter yet another "wreck'n race". Kydd Bros will be forever grateful for Scott's expertise to mechanically work on all of their heavy equipment and trucks. What I remember most about Scott is his quite demeanour and his unselfishness and willingness to help family and friends. Scott was steadfast in the community and will be missed. We are send our condolences, Valerie Keenan and Roger Kydd

Scott will be sorely missed. As child a Scott spent a ton of time at our home...spent time w my bro Jim. Common interest of vehicles; anything w/an engine that would "go". Scott also gave "the best" hugs. Love & strength to the family. God Bless. Brenda Reynolds

During my 30 years of working for the town, Scott would open up for us at any time of night when we had an emergency, hydraulic hose needed, or stalled truck, we would call upon the ‘COLONEL’, always obliging.
After my retirement our friendship continued , I always knew if he ‘sat down’ in his shop, he was up for a visit, otherwise you did your business and left.He will be missed everyday, especially for his endless knowledge.I will especially miss him for our common interests and long discussions with /about old vehicles and tractors. We have lost a great man, My pleasure to have known you Scott. Scott was very helpful to our group as we worked to restore a 1938 Diamond T fire engine. We spoke on the phone many times. Scott was very patient and graciously shared his knowledge. He even called me to follow up on our progress. With his help, the Diamond T is now running great and is being shared with others. With his passing, a wealth of knowledge is gone. We were fortunate to know him.
