IRENE - My deepest sympathies go to you and your family. Losing a loved one is such a deep hurt ( I lost my wife in 2021 ) and I feel the loss every day. We did not have any kids but you are so fortunate in that regard and I am sure that they are a source of comfort and support along with your sisters. Our deepest condolances to the family. Paul was a good friend of my husband Henry. I knew him from high school. I attached his class picture from grade 10 from my year book. We did see him a few years back at Paul Torkoff's cottage.

Paul will be missed by our family. He was a fixture in our daily lives for over 33 years - sitting in front of his house with a coffee (or other beverage), a quip or 2, solving the world's issues with friends and neighbours. Paul often bragged about both Alex and Teanna - a father proud of their accomplishments and families. He loved his summer with Nathan- so pleased with his ability to care for his wee grandson and delighted with each shared activity. And no one could come close to Irena's meals and baking. He was a man content with life - until this past year.
