Obituary of Isabell Frances Perkins

Perkins, Frances 1931 – 2023 Passed away peacefully at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at the age of 92 with her family by her side. Frances Perkins (nee Beddow), wife of the late Bill Perkins and long-time companion of the late Don Armstrong. Daughter of Isobel and Stephen Beddow and sister of the late Jean Munro. Devoted mother to Wendy (Pat), Joanne (deceased), Sandra (Dennis), Frances and Carolyn (Aubrey). Loving Nanny to many grandchildren. Fran's greatest source of happiness came from having her family around her. She lived a full life which included a career as the postmaster of the Jackson's Point Post Office and giving back to her community through volunteer work in sports and many charitable organizations throughout the years. She was an avid golfer (previously an Ontario Seniors Champion), loved to play cards as well as joining in afternoon coffee gatherings with her long-time group of friends from Fenelon Falls. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Cremation has taken place through Lakeland Funeral Centre in Lindsay. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Sunday July 9th from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service at Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton. If desired, donations can be made to the Community Living in Georgina. Memorial Condolences may be made at www.forrestandtaylor.com
