Obituary of William Harold Griffiths

Griffiths, William Harold Peacefully at North York General Hospital on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at the age of 93 years. Bill Griffiths of Scarborough, beloved husband for 68 years to Joan (nee Helliwell). Dear father of Joanne Griffiths of Scarborough and Tom Griffiths and his wife Cheryl of Sutton. Loving Grandpa of Tyler (Megan), Rebecca, Holly (Warren) and Mackenzie and great grandpa of Samantha, Emmalyn and Madalyn. Predeceased by his daughter Judith Ann. Bill was a faithful adherent to Knox United Church in Agincourt, he was active with his church’s men’s group and also enjoyed bingo. Cremation has taken place. Interment of cremated remains, Queensville Cemetery. A Celebration of the Lives of Joan and Bill Griffiths will be held in the church hall of Knox United Church, 2569 Midland Ave, Scarborough, ON M1S 1R3, on Saturday, June 10, 2023 from 1 – 3:00 p.m. Arrangements in care of the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, Sutton, 905-722-3274.
