Obituary of William George Hill

Hill, William "Bill" George Passed away in his 91st year, on Tuesday, April 18, 2023. Bill was an avid outdoorsman, passing on his love and knowledge to his children, grandchildren, and to his Scout group at the 160th in Toronto. Bill was a pressman for 28 years and then enjoyed 15+ years as a custodian with the Toronto Board of Education in the elementary schools. Bill was a musician, played the guitar, wrote songs and poetry. He continued his love of the outdoors in Belleville where he retired with his wife Joan Grace Hill (b.1935-d.2017). He took up Tai Chi, eventually becoming an instructor. He enjoyed his daily walks and love of reading right to the end. Bill is survived by his children Michael (Sally), Marshall, and Joanne (Mark Hodder). His grandchildren Kaitlyn and Liam (Bianca Jozwiak) and many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place.
