Dear Helen and Family.,
Buck was a good man- so cheerful and kind and a great host.
Helen, you and Buck welcomed us, (former Kins,) to your home. I fondly remember meeting old friends in your beautiful garden/deck. You were the glue that kept us connected with the dear Sutton community, even when Lane and I moved away in 1967 and after Lane passed away in 2019.

We were so very sad to hear of Buck's recent passing. He was such a lovely person and a wonderful man to work for. We've been exchanging family updates by Christmas cards every year since I worked for Etherington Insurance. He will be greatly missed and I know my parents will be very saddened

Bruce, Joan & family, I was so sorry to hear of Buck's passing on Sunday. What a great man. Bruce, I will always have fond memories of living together at Trent and having Buck & Eileen drop by to visit, bringing dinner for the whole house. They were so down to earth and so generous. I sometimes felt like Buck would have loved to have stayed for a few weeks and soak up more of the full university experience. The last time I saw Buck was in Barbados in 1997 when visiting Ian. You could tell he loved it there and was so relaxed in that island environment. Thinking of you on this day.

He was a man of conviction and believed in community. I remember him on the Board of Directors for the Georgina and Brock business development centre. Never trusted any Insurance company as much as I did Etheringtons. He left a great legacy.

So sorry to hear of Buck’s passing. He was such a caring Man. I have a great memory of having Buck and Bruce on my curling team when Bruce was just starting to play. it was such a pleasure for me to have Father and Som together. I have so many fond memories with Buck playing on the Legion curling Team and being good enough to make it to the provincial play downs a number of times. That meant a few nights of fellowship and fun times. Buck will be missed by so many. I am fortunate to have known him.
