Obituary of Stefan Kucharchuk

Kucharchuk, Stefan (Steve) (Proprietor of the Peninsula Resort, Pefferlaw, ON) It is with great sorrow that the family of Stefan (Steve) Kucharchuk announces his passing, peacefully at his home at the age of 87 years, on Thursday, June 10, 2010. Lovingly remembered by Helen (nee Bolychuk) his devoted wife and partner of 56 years, his sons George and his wife Lorraine of Sutton and Jerry and his wife Jacqueline of Pefferlaw and his grandchildren Suzanne, Michael and Nicholas. He will be missed by his brother in law Bill Bolychuk and his wife Zena, his sister in law Marlene Bolychuk. and his family in the United States and his native Ukraine. Predeceased by his brother in law Eddie Bolychuk. Steve was a proud, strong and determined man who had two passions in life, his family and his work. He was the owner of the Peninsula Resort in Pefferlaw where he and Helen spent 48 years building a successful business. Resting at the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Sunday. Funeral Service will be celebrated in the funeral home chapel, Monday at 11:00 a.m. with visitation from 10:00 a.m. Interment, Briar Hill Cemetery, Sutton. Friends and family are welcome to a reception following the interment at the Peninsula Resort, 202 Holmes Point Road, Pefferlaw.
