What a great lady! I will always remember Vera. I remember the 4 of us were waiting for a table at a restaurant in Englewood FL, & Gord & I were enjoying a cocktail … I said to him, “Gord, when you are finished with Vera, I want her”. I cannot remember his reply … probably OK, Jim! What a fine person she was, & good friend to my wife, LaVerne (passed away 6/21).
Vera deserved to live forever.
I offer the Watt Family my belated but nevertheless sincere condolences. I hope we meet Vera again in whatever orbit she is in.
