So sad to hear of Helen's passing. I was fortunate to have met her through church and we became fast friends over ten years ago. She kept a very positive outlook as I am sure being a widow was not easy. Everywhere we went somebody would recognize Helen and she would chat a while. She loved her animals but with health issues she couldn't manage them. So I hope you are now reunited with your loved ones as well as a few animals ❤️ Love Sherry

Dear Auntie Helen,
I wish I had known you better, can't believe the last time I saw you was in 1986/7 when you visited and I was still at school.
My first ever holiday abroad was when we visited Canada all those years ago in 1980 and it remains one of my favorite ever full of fond memories of you Brian, Anne-Marie and Victoria.
You can be together with Mum and all your other loved ones now.

I will always remember you as my loving, kind and funny Auntie Helen. We had some wonderful times together and you were always so good to be around. I am so sorry that my son Oliver never got to meet you, you would have loved him so much. Toby and I loved our visit with you not long after we got together all those years ago and remember with great warmth how welcome you always made everyone feel. I always found you so easy to talk to and remember all our times together so fondly. I will miss you being there and I am so sorry that distance meant we didn't see each other for such a long time. You were always a part of me and that will never change, I will always love you very much.

David and I shall miss you dearly, Helen. Through the years we have come to admire your quirky sense of humour, your resilience, your love of family and the kindness you showed daily to people you met along the way. I can think of numerous times when you shared what you had to ease the burden of another. What a gift you were my darling friend!
I also recall the love you had for your 'kitties' and our 'doggies'. You asked me every week to help you buy a new puppy especially the ones with pictures in the paper. We laughed about that each week.
Now you and Brian can have those laughs.
I am so happy that you are at peace now.

To You Helen, I remember you at my my parents house & sitting with you having a nice desserts after special dinners that Dad served to us ladies. I remember you giving me your ring that said Jesus on it after my son passed away and I have worn it still and it now sits with him. Most of all I remember how nice you were. Mom loves you and Dad does too & always thank you for being their dear friend.
