Fran was a one of kind beautiful human being, so kind and caring, and a dear friend to my mom Caterina D'Amico and our family. Always with the biggest smile on her face. Always so positive about everything, not a worry in the world, and nothing could bring her down. Everyone should live life like Fran. She will forever be remembered for her love of cooking, shopping, garden and pool. Not to mention her laugh was contagious. Rest in peace Fran. Mañana Mañana. You will be sincerely missed. Our heartfelt condolences to the family.

I know that my life was made infinitely richer by knowing, working alongside and caring for this woman (and Danny, of course). I’m sad today. My heart goes to you Ron and Janice, MaryJane and Ken, Tim and Michelle, Hunter, Avery and Colton, as you grieve.
There are too many memories of laughter and learning, food and drink and midnight swims (she’d send me home wearing nothing but one of those terrycloth robes!). I’m happy to have know you, Frannie; and sad you’ve gone. xo

Our deepest sympathies to the Allen and Wheeler families.
Fran was not just our neighbour, she became part of our family. Our kids learned how to swim in Fran's pool and we have so many memories in the pool, in the garden and around the fire. Fran was an amazing lady who enjoyed life and enjoyed people. I will miss her laugh and sense of humour.
Fran and Danny are reunited once again.

Its hard to put into words our sense of loss over Franny's passing. She and Danny were our wonderful neighbours for many years. We have many memories of dinners together, pool parties and lots of laughter. Franny and I had some great discussions over our gardens and flowers. She will be deeply missed by our family.

Ron & Janice, Tim & Michelle, Mary Jane & Ken and the rest of the Allen and Wheeler family - our deepest sympathies on the loss of Fran. We just cannot believe this beautiful soul has left the world, but hope all of you are comforted by the knowledge that she has been reunited with Dan. Over the past thirty plus years, we cannot possibly tally the number of laughs, tears, dinners, events and good times we shared with them both and consider ourselves privileged to be two of the many Dan & Fran shared their lives with.
The picture above is one of my favourites of Fran, taken in Victoria, B.C. in 2017. It captures her spirit beautifully. She often told me over the years ... "I'm not here for a long time, I'm here for a good time". Thank you for all the good times, my friend. Rest in peace, you will be greatly missed.
All our love, Laurie Allen & Michael Smith

It is not going to be the same without Frannie next door. She was part of our family too. Wine in the pool or on the dock, great dinners and bonfires together. We’ll miss her a lot. Such a happy, generous person who enjoyed entertaining, travel, family and friends.
We had alot of fun times exploring. We’d go out for one thing and arrive back hours later after numerous stops.
Frannie, continue to entertain and party up there with Danny, Heddie, Gordon and the rest. Know you will always be in our hearts and will be sorely missed. Karen Lawson and family.

My 52 year friendship with Franny started when we both worked for the same company. She was my maid of honour at my wedding in 1973. Out times together varied over the years but our friendship remained strong. So many 1 and 2 hour phone calls. I have so many memories of the crazy shopping trips we took – not so much what we bought but the fun in being together. Fran and I drove to Florida more than once so that we could enjoy the swimming pools in winter with Danny. If heaven doesn’t have a swimming pool it will soon! Having Fran visit us meant we ate well as Fran wanted to cook and I didn’t have to! So many fun times together and such a friendship that I will miss.

Wow, where to begin? Fran was such a kind and generous person, always smiling, always laughing, she was a very upbeat person and never ceased to take on a challenge when she put her mind to it.
She was forever busy in her beautiful gardens, she loved her pool and welcomed you to join her.
She was a fantastic cook and entertained with such style.
Goodbye Franny, I will miss you.
RIP girl and join Danny once again ❤️

My deepest condolences on the passing of dear Fran. She was our neighbour and friend for many, many years. Her laugh filled a room! Every time we went to the cottage or to visit our Mom, she would yell from the window: “pool is open girls!” We enjoyed many swims and glasses of wine, sometimes at the same time, with Fran. We spent many summer weekends with Fran, particularly since Danny’s death. Dan and Fran are now reunited. Fran will be deeply missed.

My earliest memory was of Fran driving Danny to Kinsmen events. She always had such a beautiful smile on her face. She was the sparkling face at the Medical Clinic front desk on Dalton Road. She always asked about mom and dad. I remember when Danny passed away - she was so deeply lost. They have reunited again. May her family treasure beautiful memories of Fran.
Rest in Peace sweet angel.
