Obituary of John Eric Boyd

Boyd, John Eric Peacefully surrounded by his family at his home, Friday, June 10,2022 at the age of 79 years. John Boyd beloved husband of Jacqueline Boyd (nee Trim). Loving dad of Shaun Boyd, Kyle Boyd (Penny) and Brett Boyd (Risa). Cherished poppa of Dylan, Jaime, Tyler, Jaden, Hudson, Rayna, Lilah and Chancellor. Dear brother of Fran Smith (Ross), Mary Lou Wilson (Grant), Peter Boyd and Lori Mitchell. He will be missed dearly by his cousin Fred Hoehn. Fondly remembered by his extended family and many friends. John is predeceased by his parents Walter & Norinne Boyd, his brother Michael Boyd and brother in laws Vaughan Trim (Lynn) and Graham Trim (Beverly). Dad was always there to listen to us and share his wisdom with us as he saw it. A dedicated family man, he worked hard to support his family and friends. He loved spending time with loved ones while sharing a pint and memories. Dad was always asking about his grandkids, every phone conversation started with him asking how are the kids and ended with give the kids a hug for me. His absence will be felt by all of us. The family would like to extend our appreciation for all the support John has been given. Dr. Kakavan, Dr. Orsoro, the nurses and personal support workers have been incredible, their support, compassion and personal touch helped greatly in these few past months. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Visitation will be held at the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, Sutton, Wednesday, June 22,2022 from 11:00 – 1:00. A Memorial Service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Memorial donations to the Lung Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
