We were so sorry to hear about Hedy passing. She was such a wonderful person. We have great memories of spending time with Hedy at family events, work bees, and the hockey arena. So sorry for your loss. I was a secretary at Sutton P.S. for many years when Hedy was supply teaching. She would walk in in the morning, always smiling, and say “”well what have you got for me today”? Depending on what class I told her she would be covering……..her comments were either……nice easy class or I am going to be busy today! She was a great supply teacher and I could always count on her in a pinch.

My condolences to all those who loved Hedy. We met during online Scrabble and became great friends. We shared a love of dogs, of family and spring flowers after an endless winter—although she had the greener thumb! From Canada to the US, we covered a lot of ground during 2 short years—the pandemic, death, loss of a pet, and a presidential election. She felt like family. I will forever remember my lovely Canadian friend…

My heartfelt condolences to the Draganac/Wheeler families. I am heartbroken to hear of Hedy’s passing. Hedy and I have remained friends since High School. I have so many memories of the year we spent together at Toronto Teacher’s College and our commute to the “big city” everyday. She was such a special friend and I will miss our many phone calls, messages and games on Facebook. My last conversation with her, via Messenger, was the day before she passed and I was praying for her Dr’s to help her and get her back home. Her family meant everything to her and I know you will all treasure the memories of the times you shared together forever! Take good care of yourselves, as she would expect nothing less from you. RIP my friend.

I really didn’t know Mrs. Draganac except by reputation. She must have supply taught for a while. If she supplied in my classroom at Morning Glory, the children thrived. When I returned, they were over the moon excited to tell me about their day(s) with Mrs. Draganac. My condolences to her family. She sure made a difference.
