Sincere condolences to Ivan's family. Though I haven't seen Ivan in years, I enjoyed his insightful emails on current socio-political issues and snowbirding down south and was looking forward to seeing him this summer. This bad news came as a complete shock. I will miss receiving his words of wisdom that often made my day. Again, deepest sympathies to Ivan's wife Eva and their daughters.

Eva, Diana, and Kristina, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time of sorrow. Ivan will always be remembered as an honorable and straightforward man. When I joined the Sharon Club and IPSC, Ivan took me under his wing and I fondly remember his commitment and passion for the sport.
