I am an old friend of Jim's from the old neighborhood in Scarborough. I remember Jim very well with his friendly disposition and also his sense of humor. We attended the same childhood schools. We had reconnected just last year through a mutual friend and on Facebook and were hoping to get together some time. I enjoyed following Jim's motorcycle adventures and the photos that he often shared. My sincerest condolences to all of Jim's family and friends.

Worked with Jim back in the 80's at Bell. Jim had lost a screw driver at work and our Manager asked for him to pay for it. Jim had a plan. Jim called in sick and asked me to drop off a paper bag full of 450 pennies as payment. I will never forget our Managers face.
Never a dull moment.
RIP Jim!

I am so saddened to hear of Jim’s passing. I have only great things to say about him. He was loved by so many on our lake, and it was always the start and end of my weekends seeing him leaving his boat at my dock.
He will be missed!!
