McQuaker, David Charles (Life Member Stouffville Legion Branch 459) Passed away peacefully at Markham Stouffville Hospital, Markham on Monday, February 7, 2022, at the age of 78 years. David McQuaker, of Markham, formerly of Musselman's Lake, predeceased by his parents William and Edna McQuaker, brother James and sisters Sandra and Sharon. Forever loved by his wife, the late Marilyn (nee Boyle) McQuaker, his children, Rhonda (Ken), Brenda (Brian), and William (Sharon). Beloved grandfather of David, Kathleen, Azierena, Ambrielle, and Shannon. Great Grandfather of six. Also survived by his brother Ronald (Jose), sisters Beverley (Wes), Frances, Audrey, Mary, and Annalee. Brother-in-law of Kenneth Boyle (Veronica), and Donna Boyle. Survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. Our father was a plumber/steamfitter tradesman, always hard working for his family. He looked forward to his yearly family moose hunting week. Countdown would always start from the conclusion of the previous hunt. His joy was working with the Royal Canadian Legion where he held many offices at Branch, Zone and District Levels. At his home branch, Stouffville 459, he will be fondly remembered by so many fellow comrades. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements in care of the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, Sutton. Private family interment, Stouffville Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association, The Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
