I knew Corey from his time in Toronto. I am a worker with an agency called Fred Victor and Corey is beloved by our entire team. He was so kind and generous with all. He often spoke of his love for his family. I had wonderful and sometimes hard conversations with him. He will be remembered with love by me. My condolences to his family and loved ones.

I met Cory while working with him at NRIO.
He had the biggest heart and so much love for his family and animals. I’d often find him outside in the middle of the night feeding his buddy Rocky whom he’d affectionally named. We often would chat into the wee hours of the morning about his life and his kids.
He had the ability to befriend anyone that crossed his path and would give the sweater off his back for anyone walking by with no sweater on, no matter if he would be stuck walking home without one. That really happened. And that was his big heart.
Cory was also just full of talent, and that was seen by us from the beginning. From his rock sculptures to his chalk drawings, to his quotes around the residence hoping to inspire someone during this pandemic. All these things have now washed away. But the memories will be there forever. He will be missed and not forgotten.
Rest easy, buddy.

I first met Cory when I babysat him as a tyke. He was sweet, energetic and fearless. He was a combination of a bruiser and teddy bear all in one. Good or bad, Cory was authentic and genuine. May God grant him peace in heaven and his family strength. Love you all. ❤️❤️❤️
