Obituary of David Bell Abbot

Abbot, David Bell Peacefully with family by his side at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay, on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at the age of 76 years. David Abbot, of Little Britain, beloved husband of Wendy (nee Norris). Dear father of Kristy Abbot and her husband Dan Mallett of Barrie. Predeceased by his son David. Loving Pops of Cody and Logan. Dear Brother-in-Law of Don and Carol Norris, Bob and Gayle Norris and Judy and Tod Whitfield. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, and many friends. David will be remembered for his love of the outdoors, his garden of vegetables and his endless battle with the weeds. He always kept the home fires burning to keep his family warm with the heat and his love. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of David’s life will be held at the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, Saturday, June 18, 2022, from 2-4 p.m. with remembrances at 3:00 p.m. Refreshments will be served. In Reflection of David’s attributes, children are welcomed to attend, and all attendees are encouraged to dress casually. Preferably, no suits or ties. Jeans are most acceptable.
