Obituary of Alda Mary Mouritsen

Peacefully at River Glen Haven Nursing Home, Sutton, on Monday, June 16, 2008 at the age of 76 years. Alda Mouritsen (nee Stewart), of Sutton, formerly of Kincardine, beloved wife of the late Albert Mouritsen. Dear mother of Kristine and her husband Gord Calhoun of Keswick, and Paula and her husband Ken Fairbridge of Sutton. Predeceased by her son Steven. Loving grandmother of Jennifer, Kayla, Brie-Anna and Jayme. Dear sister of Margaret Gulliver and her husband Bud of Wiarton, and Alex Stewart and his wife Edna of Kincardine and sister in law of Eileen Stewart of Kincardine. Predeceased by her brother Danny Stewart. Lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Alda started her teaching career in Elm Grove School, continued at Willow Beach School and concluded teaching Special Education Classes for many years at Sutton Public School. Resting at the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral Service in the chapel Thursday at 1:30 p.m. Cremation to follow. Interment of cremated remains, Briar Hill Cemetery, Sutton. Memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
