Dear Mary, Anne, Janet and family
I am so sorry to hear of such sad news. My sincere heart felt condolences,
I have so many wonderful memories of my “Uncle” Hugh”
My Dad and Uncle Hugh spent a lot of time fishing together, and seldom came home without a fish or two. Fishing together up in Mattachewan, the cottage on the May long weekends and the “Big Muddy” (Lake Simcoe).
I am think they both had a tackle box and fishin pole in their trunks at all times. I have heard that heaven has some great fishing holes.
I also remember a kind, caring, and patient man with a wonderful sense of humour, quick with a laugh and a smile.
The days ahead will be difficult, hold tight to your memories and they will help you thru. May you find peace and comfort in the knowledge he is resting with the Lord. He is always with you, a call, a prayer, a thought, a conversation or a memory away.
If I can help or offer support in anyway, please do not hesitate to reach out. During this time remember too, to take care of yourselves and one another.
Sending you all love and hugs
Wendy

Dear Mary, Anne and Janet,
Gerry and I send our prayers and condolences to you and your extended family! What a beautiful life Hugh led! We remember his warmth whenever we met. We especially remember how welcoming he was (as you all were) when we picked up Anne and/or Janet to babysit our young boys, George & Brian! May you be consoled! Stay safe in God's love. We remember you with love and prayers!

Dear Mary and Family,
Please know you continue to be in my thoughts and prayers!
Hugh was always such a kind, understanding and loving man, who took it upon himself to go to God with so many hardships and happy celebrations of those he knew. They were both close to him and not so close and we were all taken before God.
It is with a very heavy heart I send my Love and Condolences to Each of the Hugh and Mary Charpentier Families.

Aunt Mary & Girls,
Words cannot express how saddened we are at the loss of Uncle Hughie. He was such a kind, caring and giving human being. An exemplary Christian of the highest standard for all Catholics to model after. We are so appreciative of the times he shared hunting and fishing with our dad (his brother Bill), and know just how much that brotherly bond meant to both of them. If any man deserved to sit at the right hand of God our Heavenly Father, it truly is Uncle Hughie. We can only hope that this thought brings some peace to you and yours at this difficult time. Feel comfort in the love and prayers we are sending your way.
Love from Sharon & Barry
