My condolences to Dave's family and friends. I've had the pleasure of working with Dave, he taught me a lot. One thing that I'll always cherish, Dave taught me how to respect others. Regardless of who they were, what they did in life, he showed tremendous respect.
I'd like to share the first time I spent time with Dave. We were at a convention in Dallas, he challenged me to a fake gun draw that a supplier had staged. Dave bet me a beer he could beat me, well, that was one of the best cold beers I've ever had. Afterwards we spent pretty much the entire week hanging out. Later on in my career I was fortunate enough to work along side Dave. I'll never forget you Dave, thanks for the memories and sharing your wealth of knowledge. RIP my friend. Rob Cochrane

Jane we are so sorry for your loss. Chris and I were in shock when we heard the news. Chris admired Dave. Even if Chris was his biggest thorn in his butt. Dave was always so positive and energetic. He made a point to always pop in my office and say hello when he visited Royal Containers. His years spent meeting with customers like Royal through his many years of service at Tencorr, is a testament to his dedicated work ethic. He also spent a great deal of time getting to know his industry colleagues through AICC Canada. He will be greatly missed.

We all have good memories of Dave, he cared about and went out of his way to help people and made many friends in the process.
I will share a fond memory with you all;
It's no secret that Dave loved to fish and he loved his boat, (but not near as much as you Jane)
One windy morning as both he and I struggled to keep our balance, I gave Dave a suggestion to improve our chances of not falling in the water
I saw that he took it under advisement but no action was taken that fishing season.
After Christmas that year, Dave sent me a photo, I thought he was showing off his new sweater but there was the safety device in his hand, dear Jane had labeled the device so it could be easily identified, I remember we both chuckled each time we used it.
Our hearts are broken for this great loss, our deepest condolences to Jane, Lisa, Kevin, Mike, Jon and all the grandkids.
