It's because of you Georgina that Paul and I truly understand what volunteering is all about. You cared so deeply and you always stepped up to support Sutton by the Lake in everything you did. You taught a lot of us how to line dance, even those with two left feet. We hope that you and Fred are in each others arms and "Waltzing Across Texas" right now. I will miss Georgina a lot. Georgina and Fred were my first customer. They hired me to paint their baseboards 4 yrs ago and I continued to help Georgina with many tasks including her infamous gardens since then. Georgina was my idol/mentor. She was one of the nicest people I have ever met. My thoughts are with Georgina’s family through this difficult time. Karen Burns

I am so sorry to hear of Georgina's passing. I met her when I moved into Sutton by the Lake and shortly afterwards I went to her beginners line dancing class. I have wonderful memories of line dancing with Georgina at SBTL as well as Club 55 and De La Salle Park and have her to thank for my love of line dancing. She was a great lady and will definitely be missed. Mary Magee

We are so sorry to hear of Georgina's passing. She was such an elegant, classy lady. Georgina was so kind and welcoming when we moved to Sutton By the Lake. She invited me out to the line dancing at the Clubhouse and encouraged me to teach some of the dances. We went to some line dancing workshops together as well as classes at Club 55 and DeLaSalle Park. She directed me to the local Zumba classes that she attended and encouraged Tom's band to play their first gig at a SBTL dance which she hosted. What a busy, talented woman! I know she's doing the boot, scoot n boogie in Heaven right now. Prayers to the family on their loss.... Dianne Gray-Thompson & Tom Thompson

Georgina will be sadly missed by friends and neighbours in Sutton By The Lake. For many years she has inspired us to dance to her tunes and take the high step at a country hoedown. Always calm and always courageous we all will miss you.
