My Cousin Gene, Lynne's oldest brother, called me Christmas Day and told me of Lynne's illness. I cannot begin to tell you how it affected me.
Lynne and I were not only cousins we were also friends. Lynne lived with us in the early sixties and I referred Lynne to Bell Canada for her first job.
We were both married in 1964 and took part in each others weddings. We both lived on Jane Street, in Toronto, just a few blocks from each other. We had many wonderful times together and so many fun memories to think about.
Later, Lynne and Al bought a home in Willow Beach. Pete and I bought our first home in Queensville just a couple years later.
We stayed close while our children were young then drifted apart.
The last time I saw Lynne was at A Smallwood Family Reunion a few years ago.
Rest well my dear cousin. Your earthly journey is over and so is all your pain.
Families Are Forever.
Love you Lynne,
Joyce

My heartfelt Condolences to my relatives, the Smallwood and Mitchell family. I remember growing up with my cousin, Marylynne on Toronto Island in years 1954-56. We had a wonderful time together. Playing cards on Granny’s porch, with my sister Cathy.
Going to church on Harlan’s Point. Playing on the beach, in the warm sand. I’m glad Marylynne is out of pain now, up in heaven, singing praises to our Father God! Till we meet again.
Lovingly, Cousin Frances White

I am sorry for your loss -and yet happy she is at peace. I loved Lynne from the time we met so long a ago - when we were in grade 3 at the little school at Zephyr oh so long ago. Over the years we have kept in touch and had lots of laughs over our adventures. She was a wonderful friend and I always felt lucky that she called me a friend. I will miss her.
Love Velma Kreshewski (Maddocks)
