Shirley was always a hostess. Every Christmas Shirley had our family for dinner. Vess’s made an extension for the table. Shirley and Vess loved the boat and always made us feel welcome to hang out. It still doesn’t feel real and I can’t believe you’re gone. You always went out of your way to say how proud you were of me and all your other grandkids. You had so much love and compassion for life and everyone in it. I’m really going to miss your guidance and wisdom.
