Teixeira, George E.
Peacefully at Eagle Terrace, Newmarket, on Thursday, February 18, 2021 one week before his 96th birthday. George Teixeira, beloved husband of the late Vivienne Teixeira (nee Henwood). George and Vivienne came to Canada from Georgetown, Guyana in 1966 with two of their three children. George and Vivienne eventually retired to Sutton, Ontario. George is the dear father of Gail Teixeira, Mark and his wife Sheila, and Kim Johnston and her husband Bryan. Loving Papa of Colleen (Rafael) and Raiza; Ryan (Reta) and Adam (Ilaria); and Kyle and Liam and great Papa of Joshua, David and Orin. Fondly remembered by his extended family and friends. Thank you to the staff of Eagle Terrace for the care and support given to our Dad. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held in the spring/summer of 2021 including the interment of cremated remains in Briar Hill Cemetery, Sutton, alongside his wife Vivienne.
