Obituary of Sidney Beattie

Beattie, Sidney Peacefully at his home in Sutton, on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at the age of 89 years. Sid Beattie, predeceased by his wives, Pauline Holder, Doris Shaw and Marion Bryce. Dear father of Robert (Bob) Beattie (Veronica) of Guelph and Deborah Patterson (Teddy McCarron) of Keswick. Loving Granddad of Derek (Rachel) and Orin David (Shelley) and great granddad of five. Dear brother of Lily Holder (the late Coke) and Annie McKain (Jim). Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews Jim (Lorri), David, Marilyn and Lorraine and including those of the Holder family. Sid will be remembered by his many friends from Sutton and Texas. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Visitation will be held in the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, Sutton, Wednesday, July 28, 2021, from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 P.M. A Celebration of Sid's Life will be held in the chapel Thursday, July 29, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. Interment of cremated remains, Briar Hill Cemetery, Sutton.
