Remembing Nathan
Remember the little boy
who loved that one toy
remember that one look
yes that one
remember that smile
that would melt your heart away from a mile
when you go out in the snow
don't step where miss piggy use to go
remember i always like fun
for i was your only son
when you remember my smiley face
i hope it puts you in a better place

My deepest sympathies...I regret that I didn't have an opportunity to meet him. I know special he is from how Jess spoke about him.

Nate was a friend and former bandmate of mine in the late 90's/ early 2000's. We met through a mutual friend (Geoffrey Huntley) and bonded over our mutual love of music, more specifically, metal music, cold pizza and warm beer. After many years of playing with many different musicians, "The Vampire Of Dusseldorf" is still the best guitarist I've played with. Condolences to his friends and family. He and his music will be missed. -Dale Gallagher

Today, I was going through a box of pictures, birthday cards and other stuff. I came across this Birthday card from Nathan to Geoffrey. It brought on tears and a warm heart.

One of our fondest memories of Nathan is when we went to Santa’s Village. The two families: Dennis, Monika, Nathan, Jessica along with Stephen, myself, Kimberley, and Geoffrey went to Bracebridge to visit Santa Claus. It was a warm summer day; Mr. & Mrs. Claus were walking around the Village. Nathan, Geoffrey, Kimberley, and Jessica were running and playing around the grounds. Unbeknownst to the children, Monika spoke to Santa Claus and told him that Nathan will not eat his vegetables. Santa Claus approached Nathan and said, "I hear you will not eat your vegetables". Nathan’s face changed to a look of shock as his jaw dropped and mouth opened. It was priceless.
We have many other fantastic memories of Nathan. Most of these memories include Nathan and Geoffrey, at a very young age, either peeing or running around with capes on. Those memories still bring a smile and chuckle to us today.
We love you Nathan.
Stephen & Diane.

I had the pleasure of working with Nathan at Con Drain after he made the move from the earth works to a sewer crew.
Always a wave with that grin, a gentle soul. A hard working guy that always pulled his own weight. He will be missed
My heart aches for Monika and Dennis ❤
I am so so sorry that you will have the pain of losing a child.
My Deepest Sympathy to Jess and all of Nathan's family.
Hugs & Prayers to all.

'Share a memory'...I have been trying to think of a memory worthy of posting. There are just so many. Let's see. Would it be the one when Nathan was born and I witnessed his dad beaming with absolute pride and joy? Would it be when he and Jason first started playing together as toddlers and built a life long bond? Would it be when his Opa laughed so hard because Nathan took no interest in playing soccer as he rolled around in the grass? "Jerry Lewis" is what he would call Nate. Would it be when I watched him play guitar at one of his gigs and I danced so hard? Would it be all the times he showed up when Jazz or I needed help moving, lifting or pushing something way too heavy for us to budge? Would it be all the times he would just drop by to use the facilities? Would it be when I told him to always come to me first if he needed anything and his response would always be, "K, DD. I will" but he never did? You see? I can't prost 'a' memory because there are far too many and not enough space on this website. How do you have just one memory of someone who was embedded into you life. A part of your heart and your soul? I just can't do it. I will miss you and love you forever Nathan. Love you to the moon and back xoxo❤

Never underestimate the power & love of a cousin. Nate was like another brother to me....he would tease and annoy me just like a brother would but he was also always be there for me and nothing can break that. I miss you so much.

My absolute favourite memory with Nathan was taking him away for his birthday on his first trip ever on a plane. We went to Jamaica. He bought this great hat that looked so good on him. We had so much fun on that trip. I love looking at those photos. We were really happy that week. My heart goes out to his entire family right now.
