Dear Shirley, Jenn, and Shelley.
I am very sorry for your loss. Bob was an amazing man and working with him at the boathouse was a great time in my life. I never saw Bob back down from a job and there wasn't anything he couldn't fix. Bob was a man of few words but when he would share stories or words of wisdom and encouragement I was always honoured to listen. Bob will be greatly missed but his memory will live on with all of us that had the pleasure of his time here.

I first met Bob via my older sister and her group of friends, I was probably in my early teens. Later in life I worked at Bonnie Boats for over a year with Bob and Greg and the associated boathouse crew. It was a fun time even when the weather was harsh. Lots of beer was drunk, many a story was told but always Bob would make us laugh. I have many memories of that year at Bonnie Boats and enjoyed the friendship that grew with Bob and his family. I’ll raise a glass to a good man tonight in remembrance of Bob.
