There are pivotal moments in everyone’s life. I had one 40 years ago when Ron contacted me out of the blue and invited me to interview to join the team at Coke. Meeting in his office I was immediately impressed by his warm, open and caring manner. After being hired I discovered a culture where Ron and Neville led by example; where egos were checked and everyone was treated with utmost courtesy and respect. For my last few years there I was doubly blessed to report directly to Ron. The lessons I learned from him served me well in later years when I built and ran my own business. I will be eternally grateful for having known him. To Lynne and family, please know that we celebrate his life as we share your loss. Doug & Susan Charles, Langley BC

I first met Ron when he joined Coca-Cola,and me,at the Turnberry plant in the mid sixties. Our paths crossed many times in the country as each of us moved and worked in different provinces, including Manitoba, where in Winnipeg he asked me to join him for the movie Happy Days.We had a great time laughing together which was infinitely better than him showing me his home with the flooded basement with the large freezer floating halfway up the stairs!
We had a good business relationship and also fun and great times when travelling periodically overseas with others and with our spouses to beautiful destinations.
A professional to a "T". He will be sorely missed.

I worked with Ron for almost 14 years and had the chance to visit him a few years ago at his Lake Simcoe cottage. We shared memories, pictures, some good stories about the Steve Stavro days and had a good time. Ron encouraged me to join The Briars Golf Club so I did. Ron, when i eventually join you we'll have to do that lunch we tried so hard to book! Ron was an incredible man, business man, father, husband and grandfather and will be missed by all that knew him. Our deepest condolences to Lynn and the family. Rory and Vicki Lesperance - Willow Beach, Ont.

Hi Pringles - David Kinahan here, son of Kath and Tom Kinahan. Ron's name caught my eye in the Globe this morning and I wanted to say how fond my parents were of both him and Lynne. My Dad was 26 years with Coke and, though one develops business acquaintances, their friendship went well beyond that. I hadn't realized he was so much younger than my Dad (who died at 90 in 2017, just four hours before my Mom), so I hope there was at least initially some strong and valuable mentorship there. My sincere condolences for your loss. My Dad didn't necessarily work at lifelong relationships, but "Ron, Lynne and the Pringles" were always invoked with warmth and fondness.
