Peacefully at his home in Virginia with family by his side on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at the age of 86 years. Geoff Vallentyne, beloved father of Larry (Brenda), Lynn, Lori and the late Lyle. Loving Grandfather of the late Jason, Holly (Mark), Sara (Ryan) and Jessie and great grandfather of Christian, Nicholas and Lovelynn. Brother of Jean Flanagan of the United States. Fondly remembered by his many friends. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel of the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton, Sunday, December 8, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. Reception to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 356, 21 East Street, Sutton. Thank you to Dr. Doug MacIntyre and his staff for their care and compassion. Memorial donations to the Sutton Legion would be appreciated by the family.
