Roy wore many hats during a busy life - but the one often overlooked was his musical hat. Roy had a dance band going at Humberside Collegiate, played a lively sax and was a model for those behind him with musical aspirations.
When the HCI Golf Grads started playing twice a year at Cambridge Golf Club, Roy was one of the first to join in. Roy played with the group for twenty four years. He was a great golf partner.
Roy was a great school friend. A true gentleman.
His family was truly fortunate to have him.
As were his many friends.

Uncle Roy, we will miss our monthly dinners but in your honour we will be going to the Belvedere Saloon sometime this summer. So glad I got to go on that 8 hour road trip with you to all of the small towns and all of the beautiful parks where you used to walk your beloved dogs. Loved hearing all about your journey in life that got you into teaching! We hope you are reunited with Thelma and Aunt Trisha and Nana and Boppee and all of those who passed before you. We love you and will think of you always xo
Rest in peace,
Mark and Barb
