Ron, we are saddened to hear of Jeans' passing, but in our hearts, she is at rest now and reunited with Donna & Ted. Jean & I had a lot of good times going to yard sales in the summer and craft sales at Christmas time, latterly those also included Sylvia. Jean had the amazing ability of looking at a craft and then going home & making it. I also had the privilege of traveling to Scotland with her to attend her nephew's wedding which turned out to be a trip I'll never forget. We did a lot of visiting & walking. It was fun to watch her & her sister Mary reminiscing as well as visiting the church she was married in on the date of their 50th wedding anniversary. There are so many treasured memories of time spent with Jean & her family that I will remember always.
Love and sincere condolences.

Grandma always told us that our good deeds would be rewarded in heaven, she would said, "that's another wee jewel in your crown in heaven, dear". It's comforting to think she is up there now collecting her "Crown Jewels" and reuniting with my Mum and Grandpa

Dear Ron: So sorry to hear of the passing of your Mom. My good friend, Sylvia used to say what a wonderful lady she was and any book I lent to Sylvia was passed on to your Mom to read. I know you lost a great Mother, my sincere condolences.

I will always think of Aunt Jean as my glamorous aunt, and one who took the time to sew her nieces (many of us), beautiful frilly nightgowns. I also thought Aunt Jean was very brave coming to Canada as a young bride. She will always be in my heart as ..'seamstress for the Band, she married a music man'... Rest in Peace AJ.
