I personally did not know Rayn. I have a small history with his parents and good friends with his Uncle Steve and Aunt Maddy and cousins Shelby and Steven. After yesterday's beautiful celebration, I feel I got to know Ryan and the man he was becoming. My heart goes out to his son, parents, sister, brother in law, Uncles, Aunts,

We were just speaking with Joe the other day on the phone and remembering about growing up on Parkwood and what a great street it was back then with all the kids. Playing baseball on the spare lot (breaking the Rose's side door glass and scattering after a well hit ball), playing road hockey (using a frozen puck and not a ball because they were all crazy) riding bikes over the jumps, and walking to and waiting at the corner in the morning for the school bus. These are the fond memories Floyd and I will keep of Ryan.
