W. Earl Lyons Peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre in Orangeville on May 15, 2019 at age 76. William Earl Norton Lyons was born in Watchet, Somerset County, England in February 1943. At age 3, Earl sailed to Canada with his mother aboard the RMS Aquitania and settled in Sutton. Earl, of Grand Valley, is predeceased by his adored wife Jacqueline (Osborne). Beloved father of Christine (Michael Tenore), Brett (Dawn) and James (Patti Thomas). Cherished papa of Brandon, Nicole, Benjamin, Samuel and Max. Dear brother-in-law of Theresa and Skip Brown, Richard and Maisie Osborne, Mary Ellen Pearson and Lorraine Curtis. Fondly remembered by his aunt Georgia Lyons, cousins Ron Lyons and Margurite Lyons, nephews, nieces, and friends. Predeceased by his mother Christine Norton Lyons, uncles James and Harvey Lyons, and brother-in-law Joseph Osborne. Profound gratitude is extended to the Eaton Wing nurses for their care and compassion. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday May 22 at 11:00 a.m. at Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton, followed by interment of cremated remains at Briar Hill Cemetery, Sutton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada or Headwaters Health Care Foundation are appreciated. Memorial condolences may be made at www.forrestandtaylor.com
