Obituary of Donald Lewis Irving Lavis

LAVIS, Donald Lewis Irving It is with great sadness we announce the recent passing of Don Lavis in his 61st year on Monday, May 6th, 2019, at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket while surrounded by his family. Don is predeceased by his parents Shirley (Proulx) and Lawrence Lavis of Newmarket. Beloved brother of Wayne, Ken, Doug, Jim and Lynne (Paul) Warren. Treasured uncle to Wayne, Debbie, John, Kevin and Darren (Jennifer), Patch, Taya, Allen (Steph) and Lisa (Derek) all of whom he loved dearly. Special thank you to all of the staff at Southlake Hospital including the Intensive Care Unit. Don grew up in Newmarket and was especially dedicated to his nieces and nephews. He also loved to ice fish in the winter and to fish on Six Mile Lake during the summer. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel of the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton, Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. with visitation from 12:30 p.m. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Southlake Regional Health Centre.
