I have fond memories of Betty playing golf at Cedarhurst Golf Club in Beaverton. She was my “partner” in the Better Ball for a number of years. She taught me a lot about competition. In her direct manner she would tell me to “ go for it, Carol! It’s never going to make it to the hole if you don’t try””.”
