Grace,
I am very sorry to hear the sad news about Dan’s passing. I just found out as I was away for the last two weeks. Losing someone we love is never easy, but we must be thankful for the beautiful moments and memories we shared with them. Dan was always there to give a helping hand. You always found a sense of humour in every situation even when we had are debates, "like you know -we always love to do" and it always ended with laughter. Dan was an incredible man! Some of my favourite memories/ this about him:
His always present smile. His fun-loving attitude. His willingness to always lend a hand - I remember having car issues when I lived in the same area as Dan without hesitation he popped over to lend a hand! His generous nature - I briefly lived with him and Danielle and I think he thought of me as having another kid in the house, because even though I was a “tenant” he still brought me home food for dinner along with him and Danielle! His sense of humour - he’d never say no to burning a Christmas tree at a summer party!
I’ll miss seeing him at Brad and Danielle’s and my deepest condolences go out to all whose lives were graced by Dan’s presence.

There are not any words that can adequately convey our thoughts and feelings on the loss of an amazing Man, Husband and Father.. We regret that we did not get to know him better. He raised two beautiful daughters one of which we are proud to say is our daughter in law. Ashley we are so sorry for your loss and would willingly take on your pain if only we could. You are such a strong person and I know you will deal with this in your own way with all the strength and courage that you have.
