SHARYN ANNE WALLACE (nee:Watson) posted a condolence
Monday, March 11, 2019
As I look back over the past 53 years, I will be eternally grateful for the greatest gifts that you gave me (our two awesome children - Lorie Anne Wallace-Smith and John Gordon Wallace), who in turn, presented us with two pretty amazing grandchildren - Kristina Leanne Morrison (nee:McCarthy) and Kyle John Wallace.
Now our grandchildren also have children of their own! Krissy and Alex gave us our first great grandchild (beautiful Princess Charlotte Anne - "Charlee"). Then Kyle and Shannon surprised us (and themselves), with our second great grandbaby (Amazing Prince William John Wallace)!!!
Their love for you was strong, as was demonstrated when they stood together
- united by love, and carried out your final wishes.
You will be forever loved and remembered by your family. Your legacy lives on in your children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
RIP Luv. X/O

What I remember most is John's quirky sense of humour. His ability to turn every day things into something funny.
Also his dedication to his family, how quietly proud he was of his children, Lorie and young John. How his eyes would shine when he looked at his grandchildren, Krissy and Kyle.and his great grandbabies Charlee and William.
John, you will be missed my friend and brother-in-law.

Well it's another week, and we should be having a coffee at your "office", Coffee Time! I enjoyed our many talks and reminiscing of the past. You certainly filled in some of the blanks of my childhood. And I thank you for that. The joke of number 1 Neice will always be in my heart, even the Drs and nurses got a chuckle about that!
You will always be in my heart Uncle Johnny
Love you xxxooo

To my Dad,
I can't begin to express how heartbroken I am losing you.
My heart is aching so bad right now.
Going on without you in our lives is going to be the most difficult thing we have ever had to deal with.
You were a great Dad. Always there for all of us. A very proud man who never let his family go without no matter what. A man who would happily go without to see that all of us were taken care of. A very strong willed, set in your ways kind of man, but a man who loved his family with everything in him. Although the words were not spoken often, we know we were all loved.
I am so grateful to have had you be the one to walk me down the isle, not once, but twice at my weddings. That meant the world to me. And my Father/Daughter dances at those weddings are precious memories I will cherish all of my life.
One of the most precious moments I can recall between you and I is when you woke me up after coming home from working a night shift to come out and listen to Elvis records with you. I'm sure Mom never approved, but we had some fun didn't we? lol
I am also so grateful that you were able to attend Krissy's wedding and be there for the birth of her little girl Charlotte (Charlee), and the look on your face when you held her for the first time. It reminded me of the first time you held Krissy in your arms. The proud look just melted my heart. Rest assured, we will make sure to remind her of you as she grows into a lovely young woman, and instill some of your wonderful values in her as well.
I love you so, so much and always will.
Until I see you again......
Lorie XOXOXOXOXOXO
