Dear Aunt Sandy,
I am so sorry for your loss, it's been years but you have never left my thoughts. I really only have one memory of Kirsten and her (at the time) very little boy , very happy to say I found her pleasant and personable, of course this encounter was at Grandma's house, I enjoyed chatting with her and am very sorry you have lost her so young. Thank you for showing me what unconditional love is. You were one of the most selfless, loving, caring, dedicated, determined, and hard working people I knew. Your work ethic and 3am baking sprees were unmatched. Everything you did was to the best of your ability and to make everyone's life better, especially mine and Braydon's. You raised an incredible son who displays the same morals, values, selflessness, and loving characteristics you displayed. You lit up every room with your smile, laughter and beautiful green eyes. My beautiful friend,
We met in Grade 5. You were always the one we grouped around, the brightest most out-going shining star of all of us. A leader not a follower, you were the best at everything you tried and you won with grace. Never boastful. A work ethic like no other, you showed up on days when you weren't feeling your best. But you always looked your best....and I was lucky to receive your cast off purses! Always dressed to the nines and hair done...you lived for your monthly glambox subscriptions. Elephants and a classy animal print will always remind of you...We lost our Dad's around the same time and traded wooden boxes each had made, you were a great support to me and Jackson at that time...Thank you for being Aunty K to my son. You raised an amazing son in Braydon that my son ended up looking up to as a role model and helped to encourage that relationship by having him over for sleepovers even though there was quite an age difference between them.
I know you are finally pain free now, it's the only thing that comforts me. That, and knowing I was blessed to have been your friend and had a chance to experience your light in my life. I will never forget you Kirsten (*NOT Kristen)...how many times have you said that? Rest in Peace BFF I miss you already. Condolences of course to Braydon and Sam...and everyone else who loved and was loved by Kirsten.
