Sadly and unexpectedly, Gerry Clarke of Sutton passed away at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at the age of 77 years, with his loving family at his side. Beloved husband of Gayle (nee Halsey). Dear father of Sheri (Wayne Andrunyk) of Holland Landing and Teri (John LaPorte) of Sutton. Loving Grandpa of Matthew, Christopher (Maegan), and Colby (Colleen). Also, Stacey (Dean) and Rob, God-children of Sheri and Wayne. Predeceased by his mother Phyllis Clarke (nee Gardiner), father Edward Clarke, and his sister Barb Scott. Survived by his brother-in-law Dick Scott, and sisters-in-law Carole Gibson, Judy Halsey, Pam Russell, many nieces, nephews, and friends. Gerry was extremely active in St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, its weekly community meal and food pantry, and helping others. Memorial visitation in the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton, Friday, January 25, 2019 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Memorial Service in St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 20858 Dalton Road, Sutton, Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations to St. Andrews Presbyterian Church (Community Meal) or Southlake Regional Health Centre Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
