Peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, on Saturday, January 3, 2009, at the age of 80 years. Al Berner of Pefferlaw, beloved husband and soul mate of Liivi. Dear father of Christine and Susan. Predeceased by his daughter Andrea. Opa of Gage, Ryan, Sabrina, Stephanie and Kelly. Brother of Konrad and Helen, both of Germany. Sadly missed by family and friends in Germany, Canada and California. The family extends their gratitude to the staff at Southlake Regional Health Centre, for their care and compassion. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel of the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton, Friday, January 9th at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
