The Cooper family has a special place in my heart. Neighbors, babysitters, and my first friends. Your parents had a big impact on my life, and I will forever be thankful for their positive influence. Your dad is a reason I still am here. A quick story or two that make me smile...I was not supposed to follow the kittens in the barn but 4 year old me did and I promptly fell far down between the bales of hay piled in the barn. Mr. Cooper rescued me and with appropriate correction after a huge hug, made it clear that I should not go in the barn alone again :) Your mom gave me confidence and courage. She asked me to go get Lady, your pony who I loved, from down the road in the pasture. It was a big job for a kid but I did it, even though Lady wouldn't let me me ride her home. Your mom filled my hands with pennies. I thought I was the richest kid in the world. I have so much respect for your parents and the lives that they lived. They have left a legacy of love and lives so well lived. Sending you all love and a huge hug!
