It is with great sadness the loss of such a dear aunt. I'm sure the loved ones that have moved forward were embracing her with open loving arms .Just as she did for so many of us. Her heart and home was so open for her family & friends I always enjoyed our time together when I came home .Our weekly talks on the phone, we always said that this was our lifeline. I am going to miss you so much. I am sorry that I couldn't be there today but just know that my love is with you all and thoughts.
Rest in peace my very very special aunt , You brought us such happiness & wisdom.
Until we meet again.

Great Aunt Lila,
You will be missed. You will be remembered for being a Person who loved to laugh (just like my Grandma, your sister). You will be remembered for bringing people together, being creative, a crafter, full of Life and positivity. You made people to feel they mattered and were loved.
I will carry with me in my heart, the sound of your laughter, the incredible value in creating homemade, and the lesson that where there are challenges, so too are there possibilities.
Thank you for believing in me, thank you for your love, and thank you for leaving an imprint on my Heart and Soul.
I will remember you. I am teaching each of my three sons, the values you imparted me with, and like you, the ability to see without seeing, the importance of listening wholeheartedly and to just Believe.
Although she is the last of the Crowder siblings of Edith Mae and Albertus, her Love and Legacies of Wonder and Delight will trickle down the Generations.
As one era ends, so too, another begins.
To her immediate family, I send my condolences, from my family to yours.

My great Aunt Lila ... wow, what can I say? I was glad to have heard her voice and talk to her just on Nov.6 (2018). I was able to tell her what I wanted to say to her for a long time... That she was really the reason I became interested in being a teacher. When I was an elementary school student, my family went to visit her and Uncle Eddie. She helped me do research for a project I was working on by providing books and leading me in the right direction. Later when I was looking for a teaching job, she gave me advice and provided guidance. Aunt Lila was the youngest sister of my grandmother and Aunt Nellie was the oldest. These two ladies always made me feel as if my grandmother (my mother's mother) was around me. Aunt Lila will always remain in my thoughts and heart. To the rest of the family, I'm sorry I couldn't be there for you at her funeral. Just know that you are all in my heart and thoughts too.
Love Michele, from Ottawa xo

Sending our deepest condolences to Terry, Mark and all of your wonderful family, and many, many friends.
Heaven gained the most wonderful Angel, and now Lila and Eddie can be together, forever. XX
My heart is aching as I try to find the strength to say goodbye to one of the most loving, generous, funny and quick humor, talented, very smart, amazing woman in my life. I will trulely miss Lila with all my heart. I don't need to tell anyone how special Lila is, but I know because my mom chose this wonderful soul to be my Godmother. Lila will never be forgotten. Love and Peace.
