I don't know where to start. You all know that Ma was a mother figure to me, and what she meant to myself and son.Her door was always opened. She never judged. Many many memories of her and I chatting and laughing at the kitchen table or outside. The pot of tea on the stove. Ma threatening life and limb of the hooligans (Uncle Pete and Remington) who ate all of her yellow beans fresh picked out of her enormous garden. Uncle Gordie and I talking rodeo talk with her and our shenanigans. Ma and I discussing what Kathleen had been up to lately. And finally sitting with Dinah and her, getting education advice for Remy. Ma had a special place in our hearts. We loved her and will oh so miss her. Visiting Ma Crowder at the farm was one of our favorite things to do. Ma playing that old piano in the dining room. So many fabulous memories. She was a gift to all of us.We were family. Ma Crowder, we will miss you, <3 Shelly & Remington

To the Crowder Family, we are sending your family our deepest condolences. When I think of the stories we shared, Gladys talked of her pride and joys. They were her children, her grandchildren, her farm and her community. May the memories you have remain your heart to soothe your sole. Joe and Shelley Holborn

Dear Gordon, Kathleen and Peter,
Your mother was a good lady who loved her family. We all got to know each other when Dinah played baseball with us. Gladys tried not to miss a game, and always had other family members in tow. We travelled to a lot of tournaments around Ontario together and she was always cheering for Dinah and our Pefferlaw Merchant team. She loved to cheer and smile. Thinking of you all during this time. Be sure to tell good stories about your mom. God Bless.
Sincerely,
Patti Weir

Kathleen, Gord, Peter our deepest sympathy in the loss of your Mom. We have known each other for many years and I remember her singing in our church choir and decorating the communion table for Thanksgiving with a large bounty of vegetables and fruits that she had harvested. May she rest in peace.
Blessings, Ken and Lorraine

Dear Crowder family: The end of a great era, with the passing of your beloved mom. May she rest in peace. Sarah and I knew Dinah quite well and remember the lovely stories your mom would tell. She was kind, giving and loving to all her family.
I remember the many stories my aunt and uncle, the Matt's, would say about the hard working farm people - their neighbours - the Crowders.
