A tribute to an unforgettable brother-in-law.
A uniquely talented and enlivened man, Doug will always be remembered with a smile in my heart. He endured a colorful life and overcame tremendous obstacles that would normally recoil the best of people. Doug possessed remarkable inner strength; a powerful force that fueled his desire to rise above all adversity and enabled him to provide comfort and healing to so many people in need. He cherished life to its fullest, and was determined to the very end to show his love for his family and friends, even during the most challenging phase of his illness. I admired him from afar, as we were not always geographically connected. Doug has left his mark in all of us that knew him.
My heartfelt condolences to his loyal wife, Michelle, and to his loving children and grandchildren. May your fond memories comfort you always.
