As President of Sutton By The Lake, I respectfully honour the life of a great man. Although recently moved for SBTL, he still returned each Wednesday evening and delighted us with his company at the poker table.
George, your laughter and great sense of humour will be deeply missed by all those that you touched. This world has lost a wonderful human being, but heaven will be rewarded this new addition.
I was proud to know you and call you a friend.

My deepest condolences on the passing of George. He was the sweetest man that I have met in a long time. He greeted each of us with a warm smile and a wonderful hug.
George and I spent a lot of time talking about Scotland and my impending trip back. He always had good advise for me and was always eager to tell me stories.
Thank you for allowing me to know George even if it was for such a short time. My prayers go out to all of you at this difficult time.

We have many fond memories of George. Betty and George were great friends of my parents, Gord and Vera Watt, in Sutton on the Lake and in Florida.
We had many happy times down in Englewood Florida. Dale enjoyed many, many golf rounds with George. He also was quite the pool player! George was such a loving partner to Betty, and doted on her. It was so sweet to see them together.
He had an awesome sense of humour, a wonderful singing voice and he made an excellent chicken curry!
We will always treasure our wonderful memories of George and we know that his family will take great comfort in their own memories, and we extend heartfelt condolences.
