Peacefully at The Woodhaven Nursing Home, Markham, on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at the age of 97 years. Edna Lyons (nee Holder) of Sutton, beloved wife of the late E.I. Hughie Lyons. Dear mother of George Lyons (Meliase) of Toronto and Charlene Lyons (Gerald ) of Markham. Loving grandmother of Jason (Marc), Jeffrey, Ryan (Nicoleta) and Aleah and great grandmother of Zachary, Joshua, Alex, Octavian and Kaylin. Predeceased by her siblings, Perry, Dick, Bill, Margaret, George (Coke) and Pauline. Sister in law of Sidney Beattie, Lily Holder and Ann Lyons. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, their families and many friends. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel of the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton, Friday, April 20, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation from 12:00 noon. Interment of cremated remains, Briar Hill Cemetery, Sutton. Memorial donations to the Anglican Parish of Georgina or the Georgina Animal Shelter would be appreciated by the family.
