To Jeanette and Sarge, Elaine and Don, Jennifer and Doug, and Anita and Gord,
Our hearts were saddened when we were told of your mum's death. We know you and your families will be bereft without her.
But every time I have thought of her in this past week,I have had a smile behind my tears. Our Aunt Veronica was a beautiful little ray of sunshine and laughter. She was a wonderful friend to our mum and dad for so many years. They enjoyed a great many trips together with Uncle Jim and now they are all together once again on their final journey.
She will shine in our hearts always.
Love,
Marilyn and Bill

Although I no longer live at Sutton by the Lake, I remember the fun times I had there with Veronica as a friend and neighbour at Parkettes, and also our adventures with the Georgina Gadabouts Red Hats Chapter in Sutton. She was a warm, wonderful fun lady with a lively spirit and fabulous laugh. My sincere condolences to her family and other close friends. I won't be able to attend the services for her, but my thoughts and prayers will be with you all.

Veronica was a friend for many years. I first met her at Sutton by the Lake at a Parkettes meeting. We both came to Canada from Coventry, in Warwickshire, England. We were both Red Hat ladies in the Georgina Gadabouts and had many fun times with them. Veronica & I enjoyed the dances at Sutton by the Lake and once had a Charleston contest against each other, (She won!) I have missed her since she moved away from SBTL and I send my deepest condolences to her family. She was a fun person.

Always remembered with love. The light in her soul shone through her smiling eyes, her infectious laughter and her dancing feet. Her joy in life and her family was always a beacon which drew friends and strangers to her. Her light here may have dimmed but will continue to shine in our hearts forever.

My dear Auntie Veronica or Auntie Blonka as I called her.
Cannot think of her without smiling. Our second mother really for some of our early years. I have so many wonderful memories and that is her gift to me that will last forever and will be cherished.
I loved her with all my heart. That love continues for my four “sisters”, Jeanette, Elaine, Jennifer, Anita and their families. She would want her infectious laughter to keep on echoing through all of you. I will dance for her!
My deepest sympathy and love

I am so very sorry for the loss of your Mother, Nana and Nana 2.
What I remember most about your mother was her warm-heartedness. She was patient and never seemed to speak ill of others. I also remember that 52 years ago she taught Jeanette and I how to jitterbug. She was so talented and a very beautiful lady.
