James (Jim) Albert Hurst, W.W.II Veteran
It is with deep sadness that the family of Jim Hurst announces his passing on Monday, January 29, 2018 at Ajax Pickering Hospital at the age of 94 years. Jim is predeceased by his cherished wife Pearl (nee Adams) in 2014. Lovingly remembered by his children Jim (Ann), Nancy (Gord) and Bob. Predeceased by his son Tom. Grandpa of Jimmy (Michelle), Tommy, Gordie (Veronica), and Cindy (Adam). Great Grandpa of Natasha, Hayden, Charlie, Jessie, Mia and Pearl. Fondly remembered by his sister June Stauffer and her family. Jim was a former long time resident of Sutton-by-the-Lake and most recently of Chartwell Harwood Retirement Residence, Ajax. Jim was a proud retiree of CP Rail and a long time Masonic Lodge Brother. Cremation has taken place. Interment of cremated remains, Briar Hill Cemetery, Sutton.
